Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust

Academy provides an outsourced assessment service for senior level appointments. the services has been used in the selection of:
.Director of Nursing
.Director of Clinical Professions
.Directorate Manager for Medicine

The trust initialy needed advice on the appropriate choice of tests for each role.

Assessments were completed online with results produced in advance of the interview. A feedback report was produced and fed directly to the assessment panel to help them interpret the findings and to prepare for the interview process.

Once the panel had reached its decision unsuccessful candidates were offered a feedback session in order that they could learn from the process


The NHS Research and Development Directorate

This organisation is responsible for implementing the NHS R&D Strategy in the South East. This includes identifying needs and priorities for research-based evidence; ensuring that evidence is forthcoming; and working with others to promote a knowledge-based service in which clinical, managerial and policy decisions are based on sound information about research findings and scientific developments.

Many senior appointments are critical to its effectiveness and demand wide ranging technical and managerial abilities.
