The Brandon Trust was established in 1994 and is now the leading provider in the South West of Educational programmes and residential and nursing care for people with learning difficulty. The constitution and effectiveness of the senior management team is critical to the ongoing development and success of the organisation. Finding managers who naturally combine the core values of the organisation with commercial acumen has at times proved difficult in a highly competitive market.

Initially Academy designed and facilitated the selection process for senior posts within The Brandon Trust, developing a structure that concentrated on core job competencies and identifying candidate traits that would not have been apparent through the previously traditional approach to selection.

As Brandon Trust has grown to an organisation of over 1700 staff our involvement has widened. We have developed a wide range of selection processes and helped to establish a robust HR function by directly recruiting both experienced permanent and interim HR staff

Brandon Trust believe that well trained staff are the most important resource any organisation can have and Academy have designed and delivered management development programmes to ensure that staff teams are confident, competent and motivated.
