Tarmac is a leader in the production of heavy building materials in the UK, with a growing presence in continental Europe, the Middle East and Far East. Recruitment and succession planning present many challenges within construction and engineering environments.

Academy were originally invited to manage a recruitment campaign for a senior production manager for the lime and cement division,introducing psychometric assessment tools to the business,which aided the selection decisions. As a consequence Academy have been asked to manage several recruitment and succession processes within Tarmac group comprising both internal and external candidates.
